For a variety of reasons, Personal Chefs sometimes need a little assistance to re-energize their service. Sometimes due to an extended absence from the service. Sometimes the timing wasn’t right and the business never really took hold or got properly launched. Or maybe you’ve operated at a part-time level and are now ready to bring more business onboard. Regardless of the reason, the Culinary Business Academy can help.
The Culinary Business Academy offers a live, interactive training program where Personal Chefs in need of additional focus or guidance can get personalized attention and be exposed to a variety of fresh ideas, techniques and marketing options. This program is packed with marketing ideas, time management structure and fresh twists that can revitalize virtually any personal chef service in need of a boost. This exciting beneficial program is called CREW, or Client Retention & Expansion Workshop.

Requirements
- You must be a current USPCA member.
- You must have completed the Culinary Business Academy testing series.
- You must have a completed a business plan.
- You must complete the CREW questionnaire (PDF)
CREW includes

16 Hours of Classroom Instruction, including 2 Hours of kitchen lab.
CREW is presented in a classroom environment and will focus on business organization, marketing and advertising, telephone sales and techniques, in-home presentations, client retention, additional services and business organization. There will be kitchen-lab demonstrations to highlight expedited services.

CREW Workbook
Each student will receive a workbook ideal for classroom notes and future reference.
Workshop Dates and Locations
- Contact the Culinary Business Academy for exact workshop dates.
- The workshop is offered at the Culinary Business Academy main campus in Rio Rancho, NM.
- Workshops are anticipated to be offered twice each year (spring and fall).
- Workshops are conducted over a Friday & Saturday period. The workshop runs from 8 AM - 5 PM.
